How to stop IPTV buffering: a practical checklist
Buffering almost always has a local cause. Before you message support, work through these four checks - in our experience they resolve the large majority of reports.
1. Measure the connection at the device, not the router
Run a speed test on the device you are actually watching on. A Firestick sitting behind a wall three rooms from the router can see a fraction of what your laptop sees next to it. You want a sustained 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K, with low jitter.
2. Prefer a cable, or move to 5 GHz
Wired Ethernet removes an entire class of problem. Where that is not practical, make sure the device is on the 5 GHz band rather than 2.4 GHz, which is crowded in most homes.
3. Raise the buffer in your player
Most players default to a small buffer to reduce channel-change time. Increasing it to two or three seconds trades a slightly slower zap for far steadier playback on a variable connection.
4. Switch the decoder
If your player offers hardware, hardware (auto) and software decoding, try each. Hardware decoding is usually correct on modern devices, but some older boxes handle particular codecs better in software.
If it still buffers
Message us on WhatsApp with the channel name, the exact time, and your rough location. That lets us check the specific source rather than guessing.
