Step by step

    Allow apps from unknown sources

    Go to Settings, My Fire TV, Developer Options, then turn on "Install unknown apps" for the Downloader app.

    Install Downloader

    Search the Amazon Appstore for "Downloader" and install it. This is the tool that fetches the player app.

  3. 3

    Download your player

    Open Downloader and enter the official download URL for your chosen player. Install the APK when the download finishes.

    Sign in

    Open the player, choose "Login with Xtream Codes API", and enter the server URL, username and password from your dashboard.

  5. 5

    Tune the playback settings

    If a stream stutters, switch the decoder to hardware or raise the buffer size in the player settings. On a Stick 4K, hardware decoding handles 4K comfortably.
