Strong8K FAQ

Strong8K is an IPTV subscription service that streams 45,000+ live channels and 110,000+ on-demand titles over your internet connection, in quality up to 8K, to any device running a compatible player app. Below are the questions we are asked most often.

Getting started

What the service is, what you need, and how long setup takes.

What is IPTV and what do I need to use it?

IPTV delivers television over your internet connection instead of a satellite dish or cable line. You need a stable connection of at least 15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K, and any device that runs a compatible player app, such as a Smart TV, Firestick, Android box, phone, tablet, MAG box or Enigma2 receiver.

Which devices are supported?

Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Amazon Firestick and Fire TV, Android phones, tablets and TV boxes, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, MAG boxes, Enigma2 receivers, Windows and macOS. Anything that accepts an M3U playlist or Xtream Codes login will work.

How quickly do I get my login details?

We send them in the same WhatsApp chat as soon as your payment is confirmed - usually within a few minutes during working hours. Save the message: it carries your server URL, username and password.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Tap any free-trial button and it opens a WhatsApp chat with us - tell us which device you use and we send 24-hour credentials, no card details needed. One trial per household.

Can I watch on more than one device at a time?

Every plan includes one connection, which means one stream at a time. You can install your credentials on as many devices as you like, but only one can play at once. Need two, three or four screens at the same time? Message us on WhatsApp for multi-connection pricing.

What happens if a stream buffers?

Message us on WhatsApp with the channel name and the time, and our team will check the source. Most buffering is caused by local network conditions, so we will also walk you through a quick connection check.

Do you keep my payment details?

No. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never touch our servers. We store only the invoice, the amount and the processor reference.

How do I cancel?

There is nothing to cancel. Subscriptions are prepaid for a fixed term and simply stop at the end of it. If you want to continue, message us before it expires and we will extend the same line.

What is Strong8K?

Strong8K is an IPTV subscription service. It streams 45,000+ live television channels and 110,000+ on-demand films and series over your internet connection, in quality up to 8K, to any device that runs a compatible player app. There is no dish, no cable and no set-top box to rent - you install an app and sign in with the credentials we issue.

What internet speed do I need?

As a working guide: 15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K and 50 Mbps or more for 8K, per simultaneous stream. A wired Ethernet connection is more reliable than Wi-Fi for 4K and above, because IPTV is sensitive to jitter rather than raw bandwidth.

What is the difference between M3U and Xtream Codes?

Both are ways of handing your subscription to a player app. An M3U URL is a single playlist link that the app downloads in full. Xtream Codes is an API login - a server URL, username and password - which lets the app load categories on demand and fetch the EPG separately. Xtream Codes is the better choice where your player supports it, because it starts faster and keeps the guide up to date.

Devices and apps

Where Strong8K runs and which player to install.

Do I need a specific app?

No. Strong8K works with any player that accepts an M3U playlist or Xtream Codes login. We publish step-by-step guides for the players we see most often, but you are free to use whichever you prefer.

Can I use the same login on more than one device?

Yes. Install your credentials on as many devices as you like. What is limited is simultaneous playback: your plan's connection count sets how many streams can run at the same time.

Does it work outside my home country?

Yes. The service follows your internet connection rather than your location, so your channels travel with you.

My device is not on your list. Will it work?

Very likely. If it runs an IPTV player that takes an M3U or Xtream Codes login, it will work. Message us on WhatsApp with the make and model and we will confirm before you buy.

Billing, renewals and refunds

How payment, upgrades and cancellation work.

Do longer plans include the same content?

Yes. Every plan unlocks the same channels, VOD library and EPG. The only difference is the term - the longer you commit, the less each month costs, down to half price on the 12-month plan.

Can I upgrade mid-term?

Yes. Message us with the plan you want and we will add the time remaining on your current subscription to the new term, so nothing is lost.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Orders are arranged over WhatsApp at the moment, and we will walk you through the payment options available to you in the chat before you commit to anything.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, within the window set out in our refund policy, provided the service could not be made to work for you and our support team had a reasonable chance to help. The free trial exists so you can confirm compatibility before paying.

Do you offer reseller accounts?

Yes. Reseller credit packs let you create and manage your own customer lines from a sub-panel. Message us on WhatsApp for current pricing and terms.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

No. Nothing renews on its own and no payment details are held against your line. When a term is close to ending, message us and we will extend it.

What happens when my subscription expires?

Playback stops and your credentials are suspended. We keep the line itself, so renewing restores the same login rather than issuing you a new one.

Troubleshooting

The problems we are asked about most, and what actually fixes them.

Why is my stream buffering?

In most cases the cause is local rather than the source. Work through these in order: switch from Wi-Fi to Ethernet, or move closer to the router; raise the buffer size in your player settings; switch the decoder between hardware and software; and check no other device is saturating the line. If one specific channel buffers while the rest are fine, that is a source problem - send us the channel name and the time and we will check it.

The EPG is empty or showing the wrong programmes.

The guide is fetched separately from the streams and can take several minutes to populate on first load. If it is still empty, force a refresh from your player's settings, and check the app's time zone matches your own - a wrong time zone is the usual cause of a guide that is right but offset by a few hours.

I get a "connection limit reached" message.

Another device is already using your connection. Close the stream on that device, or wait a minute for the session to time out. If it keeps happening, a player left running in the background is the usual culprit.

My login is not accepted.

Check the server URL for a missing port number, and retype the username and password rather than pasting them - a trailing space is the most common cause. If it still fails, your subscription may have expired; your dashboard shows the current status.
